What ezyVet does well
ezyVet's report builder genuinely stands out among cloud PIMS platforms — granular filtering, custom fields, and enough configurability that a practice with someone willing to invest setup time can build a report tailored to almost any specific question. For a multi-doctor practice with particular reporting needs, that flexibility is a real advantage over a more rigid, opinionated system.
Where the gap still shows up
The flexibility is also the limitation. A custom report is only as useful as the person who built it remembering to open it, re-run it, and compare it against last week's pull — and that manual habit is exactly the kind of task that survives a slow month and quietly disappears during a busy one. ezyVet won't proactively tell you a specific provider's revenue per hour has drifted or that a client hasn't booked in months — it will show you that, accurately, the moment you build and run the report that asks.

The gap is entirely about what happens by default versus what requires someone to build and maintain a custom report indefinitely.
